A True OHV Basecamp
Trails to the east, trails to the west.
The Ozark National Forest offers designated motorized routes mapped on the Forest Service's Motor Vehicle Use Maps (MVUMs). Cass House is positioned between the two nearest districts — so whichever way the day takes you, the trailhead is close. Unload in the morning, ride, and be back at the cabin by the fire that night.
Boston Mountain Ranger District
Designated national-forest routes on the Boston Mountain MVUM system, west of Cass — forested ridge and creek-bottom riding through the heart of the Ozarks.
Pleasant Hill Ranger District
The Pleasant Hill MVUM system lies east of the property, with additional mapped routes — and the Mill Creek OHV Area in the wider region.

Byrd's Adventure Center
The original Arkansas ATV park — operating since 1982 — packs 800 acres of private off-road terrain with mud pits, trails, and obstacles for every skill level.
Beyond the riding, Byrd's offers rentals, riverfront camping and lodging, a restaurant, and hosts rallies and events through the season. It's a destination in its own right, just up the road from the cabin.
On Two Wheels
The Pig Trail (Highway 23)
One of the most famous scenic motorcycle routes in the country, the Pig Trail twists through the national forest in tight switchbacks and shaded tunnels of hardwood. Whether you ride it or just cruise it, it's a classic Ozark drive — and it runs right through the area.
Good to know
Highway 23 is a paved scenic byway — great for sport bikes, cruisers, and a leisurely drive alike.

Trail tips & essentials
Carry an MVUM
Ride only designated routes. Download the district's Motor Vehicle Use Map before you go — cell service is spotty in the backcountry.
Fuel & maps at Turner Bend
The outfitter (~3 miles) stocks premium fuel, ATV trail maps, and deli sandwiches to pack along for the day.
Plan for the basics
Pack water, tools, and a first-aid kit. The nearest urgent care is in Ozark; the closest hospital is in Fort Smith (~50 miles).
Park the trailer. Ride all weekend.
Ten private acres give you room to unload and stage your rigs, with trailheads just minutes away.
